과학은 자연 현상을 관찰하고 이론을 통해 이해하는 능동적인 과정이다. 관찰은 과학의 탐구 과정을 시작하는 중요한 기능이다. 초등학교 과학 탐구 과정 기능에서 가장 첫 단계로 언급되는 관찰은 모든 탐구의 기본이 되는 기능이기도 하다. 현미경은 망원경과 함께 오래 전부터 관찰자 의 관찰을 돕는 중요한 도구로 사용되어져 왔다. 초등학교 교육과정에 편성된 현미경 사용 단원 은 매우 적지만 초등학교에서 거의 유일한 관찰 도구인 현미경을 학생들에게 경험시킬 수 있는 여러 방법이 필요하다. 현대에는 스마트 기기가 대부분의 우리 생활에 깊이 관여하고 교육 현장 에도 널리 보급되어있다. 이러한 스마트 기기 가운데 하나인 디지털 현미경이 초등학교 현장에 보급되면 기존의 기계식 현미경의 단점을 줄여 학습자의 관찰 능력을 향상시키고 교사들의 실험 에 대한 어려움을 줄여줄 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 스마트폰 부착용 디지털 현미경 사용을 중심으 로 초등학교에서 쉽게 활용할 수 있는 생물 교재를 개발하였다.
Science is an active process of understanding by observing the natural phenomena through theory. Observation is an important feature to start the inquiry process of science. Observation that has been mentioned in the most first step in the function of the process of elementary school science inquiry, is also in the underlying function of all of the inquiry. Microscopy has been used as an important tool to help observations. Activity with microscopy in elementary school's curriculum which has been organized in a very small, but it is necessary that a variety of methods to make use of the opportunity to be able to wear almost the only observation tool in elementary school will be discussed. In these days smart devices are deeply involved in our lives, and are also widely used in the field of education. Digital microscope is one of these smart devices to reduce the disadvantages of the conventional mechanical microscope. It can improve the observation capability of the learner and reduce the elementary school teachers' difficulties of the experiment. In this study, biology experiment teaching materials have developed that can be easily utilized in the primary school with digital microscope attachment to the smart phone.
