이 연구는 2011 개정 실과 교육과정에 따라 개발된 검정 실과 교과서의 ‘생활과 정보’단원 을 대상으로 탐구 성향을 분석하였다. 탐구 성향은 Romey 기법에 의한 분석법을 사용하였다. 분 석 요소는 크게 교과서의 본문, 자료, 활동, 평가로 나누었다. 분석 결과는 대부분의 교과서에서 ‘생활과 정보’ 단원의 탐구 성향이 낮게 나타남으로써 학생 참여가 부족하고 권위적인 것으로 파악되었다. 또한 전체적으로 탐구 성향이 낮은 것도 문제이지만, 각 분석 요소에는 Romey 지수 가 0인 교과서가 있어서 탐구 성향의 개선이 필요한 것으로 확인되었다.
The purpose of this study was to study in the units on‘Life ＆ Information’in six Practical Arts Textbooks according to 2011 Revised National Curriculum. In this study, a comparative analysis of six kinds of textbooks in 5th grade respectively was conducted especially on the‘Life ＆ Information’ unit in 2011 revised Practical Arts textbooks. Romey analysis was implemented to analyze inquiry in six textbooks using four different criteria – text, data, activity, evaluation. The results showed that almost textbooks displayed a low level of inquiry tendency, lacking participation from students and employing an authoritative tone. Almost four factors low level of inquiry tendency. The Romey measures in some sections were zero, thereby indicating room for improvement.
