본 연구는 초등수학교사의 전문성 신장을 위해서는 교사의 PCK 개발이 필요하며, 교 사의 PCK를 향상시키는 방안으로 수업연구(Lesson Study)를 선정하여 효과적인 수업연 구의 방향을 살펴보았다. 이를 위해서 먼저 수학교사의 전문성 지표의 하나로서 PCK에 대해서 알아보았고, 교사의 전문성 개발 방법 중 하나로 수업연구에 대해서 살펴보았 다. 이를 바탕으로 현장 수학교사를 대상으로 이뤄진 수업연구를 고찰하였고 마지막으 로 효과적인 초등수학교사의 PCK 향상을 위한 수업연구의 방향을 제안하였다.
This study focused on the lesson study as an effective mean for developing pedagogical content knowledge for elementary mathematics teachers. Based on the assumption that expert teachers must have sufficient pedagogical content knowledge for good mathematics instruction, reviewed the preceding researches on pedagogical content knowledge in Mathematics and on Lesson study. For Lesson study being an effective way to develop PCK of elementary Mathematics teachers, several suggestions were given for future research.
