이 연구는 초등학교 6학년 수학영재 학생들에게 이제까지 학습한 수학 지식을 바탕으로, 스스로 수학 문제를 자유롭고 창의 적으로 어려운 수학 문제를 많이 만들어 보게 하였다. 연구의 의도는 6학년 수학영재 학생들은 어떠한 수학 문제를 만드는지와 다양하고 확산적인 사고 활동을 하고 있는지를 알 아보기 위함이었다. 학생들이 만든 수학 문제를 분석한 결과, 학생들은 다양한 영역에 걸쳐 다수의 수학 문제를 세련되게 만들었고, 적극적으로 문제 만들기에 임하였다. 이 결과, 학생들은 문제를 만드는 중에 다양하고 확산적 사고 활동이 작용되어 창조성 육성에 도움이 되었을 것으로 생각한다. 수학교육의 큰 목표인 창조성의 육성을 위한 가장 효율적인 제재와 방법은 수학 문제해결과 문제 만들기 학습⋅지도라고 생각한다. 특히, 수학문제 만들기 학습⋅지도는 창조성 육성의 핵심인 다양하고 확산적 사고를 길러줄 수 있는 고차적 방법이 므로 실제 수업에서 항시 적용하는 것이 요망된다.
In this study, I set the 6th grade students mathematically gifted in elementary school to pose freely the creative and difficult mathematical problems by using their knowledges and experiences they have learned till now. I wanted to find out that the math brains in elementary school 6th grade could posed mathematical problems to a certain levels and by the various and divergent thinking activities. Analyzing the mathematical problems of the mathematically gifted 6th grade students posed, I found out the math brains in 6th grade can create various and refined problems mathematically and also they did effort to make the mathematically good problems for various regions in curriculum. As these results, I could conclude that they have had the various and divergent thinking activities in posing those problems. I think that the teaching and learning of mathematical problem solving and problem posing is the most effective content and method for developing students' creativities being the most important purpose in mathematics education. Especially, as the teaching and learning of mathematical problem posing is high developed method being able to bring up the various and divergent thinking to the core of rearing creativities, It is highly recommended to apply this in class.
