The purpose of this research is to examine the effect of the anthroposophy group art therapy in children
with ADHD children, to develop an effective art therapy program and to provide it to the children. The
research was composed of two parts: Research I and Research II. The program was applied 12 times to an
experimental group(n=12) and a waiting group(n=10,) who are in G Regional Children’s Center. The major
results of the research were as follows. First, in the creativity test, the experimental group showed more
meaningful results than the waiting group. Fluency, originality, abstraction of title, granularity, resistance to
premature closure in the experimental group, of subordinate elements in creativity, showed a more
meaningful increase compared to the waiting group. Second, in the aspect of attention deficit
hyperactivity symptoms, the experimental group showed a more meaningful result than the waiting
group. Of subordinate elements in attention deficit hyperactivity symptoms, negligence and hyperactiveimpulsivity
in the experimental group decreased more meaningfully than those in the waiting group.
Therefore the anthroposophy group art therapy program developed in this research verifies as an effective
program in improving attention deficiency and creativity and in reducing hyperactive impulse in children.
