The object of this study is to analyze the difference of mother's satisfaction with parental role
according to preschooler's gender and problem solving ability. For this study based on mother's
satisfaction level criteria with parental role used by Hyun OnKang and Cho BokHee aiming at
two hundred of five year old preschoolers(male 131, female 69) and their mothers and graphic
problem used in transcendental recognition measurement tool, problem solving ability test made
by this researcher is used.
Mother's satisfaction level with parental role found by this study has nothing to do with
preschooler's gender in entire and subordinate factors, but regarding preschoolers' problem
solving ability it is found that the higher preschooler's problem solving ability, the higher parental
satisfaction level in the subordinate factor like parents-child, spouse support and child support.
