성인 발달장애인의 평생과정설계를 위한 준비프로그램 효과성 연구

본 연구는 성인 발달장애인의 자립을 위한 평생과정설계 준비프로그램을 구성, 실시하고 프로그램 참여에 따른 성인 발달장애인의 자립역량 증가정도를 검증하 였다. 연구 설계는 사전·사후검사 통제집단 설계이다. 연구결과, 실험집단의 인지 적 차원의 개인적·사회적 자립역량은 측정시기에 따라 통계적으로 각각 유의하게 증가하였다. 또한 실험집단의 인지적 차원의 개인적·사회적 자립역량은 통제집단 보다 통계적으로 각각 유의하게 높은 것으로 나타났다. 실험집단의 행동적 차원 의 개인적·사회적 자립역량은 측정시기에 따라 통계적으로 각각 유의하게 증가하 였다. 실험집단의 행동적 차원의 개인적·사회적 자립역량은 통제집단의 자립역량 보다 통계적으로 각각 유의하게 높은 것으로 검증되었다. 본 연구는 그동안 미래 설계 과정에서 배제되어 왔던 발달장애인을 대상으로 하여 미래설계를 위한 구 체적인 방안을 제시하고 실천현장에서 활용 가능한 평생과정설계 준비프로그램 내용과 체계를 구성하여 그 효과성을 검증하였다는 점에서 실천적 함의가 있다 고 하겠다.

영문초록

This study aims to construct and execute the preparation program about permanency process planning for the independence of adults with developmental disabilities, and measure the increase of independent competency. Study was designed in a pretest-posttest control group design. As a result, the individual and social cognitive independent competency of experimental group displayed a statistically significant increase based on the measurement period. Also, the experimental group displayed statistically higher individual and social cognitive independent competency than the control group. The individual and social behavioral independent competency of experimental group displayed a statistically significant increase based on the measurement period. Also, the experimental group displayed statistically higher individual and social behavioral independent competency than the control group. The practical implication of this study is in targeting adults with developmental disabilities, who had been excluded in future planning process, to construct a specific plan for future planning and the contents and structure of permanency process planning education program that can be utilized in the practice field.
