본 연구는 발달장애인의 직업능력 수준을 파악하고 직업능력이 직업유지에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 분석하므로 직업유지를 향상시킬 수 있는 실천적 함의를 제언하는데 있다. 이를 위해 2015년 10월 12일부터 11월 13일까지 서울과 경기도 내 직업재활시설 (25곳)에서 150명을 대상으로 조사 분석하였다. 분석결과, 첫째, 직업능력 수준은 개념적 기술, 사회적 기술 수준보다 가족과 직업재활실무자의 지지가 높을수록 직업능력 수준 이 높아지는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 직업유지에 영향을 미치는 결과는 직업생활태도, 작업수행능력, 동료와의 협조성, 작업행동특성 등이 높을수록 직업유지에 유의미한 결과 로 나타났다. 셋째, 직업능력이 직업유지에 미치는 영향 요인은 통계적으로 유의미하게 나타났다. 따라서 본 연구의 결과를 토대로 발달장애인의 직업능력을 향상시키고 직업 유지에 필요한 방안을 제언하였다.
This study aims to assess the occupational skills of workers with developmental disabilities, and analyze the effect it has on their occupational maintenance capabilities. This leads to practical implications that improve the occupational maintenance of people with developmental disabilities. To this purpose, a survey analysis was performed on 150 people in 25 occupational rehabilitation centers located in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do Province from 2015. 10. 12. to 2015. 11. 13. The results were as follows : First, occupational skill rises rapidly with high levels of support from family members and rehabilitation staff, relying less on conceptual and social skills. Second, factors such as occupational attitude, job performance capability, coworker cooperation, and job characteristics had a significant effect on occupation maintenance. Third, the effect of occupational skill on occupation maintenance appeared to be statistically significant. Hence, this study serves as a guideline to implement measures to enhance the occupational skills of workers with developmental disabilities and improve their occupation maintenance capabilities.
