The Huiji Yasutong Shiwuyin(彙集雅俗通十五音)(1832) is the rhyming book which reflected the pronunciation of Zhangzhou(漳州) dialect in 1818. This study tries to examine the characteristics of the constitution and the phonological system included in the book. The book has the 15 initials, which are reconstructed as [l(n)], p, k, kh, t, ph, th, ts, dz, s, ∅, b(m), g(ŋ), tsh, h]. We can reconstruct 85 finals, which include 45 finals for the colloquial readings and 40 finals for the literary readings. Some phonological changes have happened for two centuries. Nothing has happened in the initials, however, there are some changes in the finals; [ei] → [iei], [uei/ʔ] → [uɛ/ʔ], [iɔ̃] → [iũ], [uẽi] → [uɛ], [õ] → [ɔ̃] and the finals of [uaiʔ] and [uaŋ] have disappeared. The tonal values have kept the similar patterns except the Xiaping(下平) [213] → [32] and the Xiaru(下入) [214] → [14].
