Objectives : The purpose of this study recognizes about the present situations of elderly health care system, and to recognize a direction of elderly health care system actuality of our country. Methods : We reviewed that elderly health care system, problem, case of Japan through a study of literature, which is a basis that offers vitalization of elderly health care system. Results : In health medical treatment policy that is enforced present is elderly health support business, elderly home medical welfare, elderly long term care insurance ect. However, this policies are displaying problem in a lot of places. Conclusion : Therefore, finding solution about these problems, establish policy laying on-time and constant plan, prevention medical care such as health promotion, disease prevention, early diagnosis, early treatment, may offer elderly health care system that is specialized with medical expense curtailment.
