연구목적 본 연구는 재활병원에 근무하는 작업치료사를 중심으로 응급처치에 대한 경험과 대처 능력에 대해 알 아보고 그 중요성을 제시하고자 한다. 연구방법 2011년 8에서 9월까지 부산 재활병원에 근무하는 작업치료사를 대상으로 설문조사를 통해 총 98부를 유효한 자료로 사용하였다. 자료분석은 SPSS 17.0 version을 사용하여 기술통계, 빈도분석과 분산분석 을 사용하였다. 연구결과 재활병원에 근무하는 작업치료사는 직접적인 응급 상황(44.9%)과 간접적인 응급 상황(91.8%)을 경험 한 것으로 나타났다. 낙상(69%)과 발작(60%)에 대한 상황을 많이 경험했고, 과거응급상황에 대한 교 육을 받은 적이 없는 경우가 과반수 정도로 나타났다. 그러나 응답자 전수가 응급상황에 대한 처치 능 력이 필요하다고 응답하였다. 결론 본 연구에서는 작업치료사는 이런 응급 상황을 처리하기 위해 교육 또한 필요 하다고 조사되었으나, 과거 응급 상황에 대한 교육을 받지 못한 치료사는 전체 치료사 중 49%로 조사되었다. 따라서 앞으로 학교, 병원, 협회 등 관련 기관에서 응급 상황에 대한 교육 과정을 포함시켜, 응급 상황에서부터 환자 뿐 아니라 치료사도 응급 상황에서 보호하여야 할 것이다.
Purpose : The purpose of this study was to know about the first aid experience and treatment capacity of occupational therapists who are in rehabilitation center and let them suggest how important is. Methods : We carried out survey of occupational therapists who are in rehabilitation hospital in Busan during 2011. 8～9month and then we used 98 of valid data. We used SPSS 17.0 version for descriptive statistic, frequency analysis, and variance analysis. Results : The result of this study was that the Occupational therapists had experienced both ways first-hand experience(44.9%), and second-hand experience(91.8%). Most of them are experienced fall down(69%), seizure(60%) and half of them didn't received training of emergency situation. But all of them insist that they need to ability of emergency situation. Conclusion : This study was show that occupational therapists need to education for coping with the first aid situation but 49% didn't get the educational training. So in the future, institution with school, hospital, association should contain the first aid educational treatments so that patients and therapists protect them from the emergency situation.
