연구목적 본 연구의 목적은 경남지역 작업치료사들의 병원감염관리에 대한 인식도, 수행도, 요구도 및 심리적 임파워먼트를 조사하고 영향을 미치는 요인을 분석하여 작업치료실 내 병원감염관리 프로그램 및 정책 수립을 위한 자료를 제공하고자 한다. 연구방법 본 연구의 자료수집은 2010년 7월부터 2010년 10월까지 경남 소재 30개 병원에 근무하는 작업치료사 152명을 대상으로 하였다. 본 연구에서는 일반적 특성, 병원감염관리 인식도와 수행도 그리고 임파워 먼트를 묻는 리커트 5점 척도의 자기 기입식 설문지를 사용하였다. 자료분석은 SPSS 18.0을 이용하여 기술적 분석, t-test, 상관분석, 다중회귀분석을 실시하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 연구결과 작업치료사의 임파워먼트는 3.66였고 임파워먼트 요소로는 의미성, 자기결정력, 능력, 영향력 순으로 나타났다. 작업치료사의 인지도는 4.45 그리고 수행도는 3.89로 개인위생, 치료실 위생 순으로 나타났 다. 작업치료사의 임파워먼트와 병원감염관리에 대한 인지도, 수행도는 양의 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 작업치료사의 임파워먼트에는 수행도가 주요한 요인으로 나타났다. 결론 작업치료사의 병원감염관리에 대한 인지도, 수행도, 임파워먼트간에 유의한 상관관계가 있었으며, 병원 감염관리를 위한 인지도와 수행도를 향상시킬 수 있는 방법을 모색하여 효과적인 병원감염관리로 작업 치료사의 병원감염을 예방하고 교육 프로그램의 개발이 요구된다.
Objective : The aim of this study was conducted to investigate the level of awareness, performance and empowerment of the occupational therapist on nosocomical infection and evaluate potential factors in order to provide fundamental data for the development of program and policy on the prevention of it. Method : The study data was collected from 152 occupational therapist in 30 hospitals located in Gyeongnam from July 2010 to October 2010. The research instrument was a self-administered standardized questionnaire including general characteristics, awareness, performance and performance for prevention of nosocomical infection and empowerment. For the assessment of this study, descriptive analyses, t-tests, correlation analyses and multiple regression analyses were made. The results derived from the study are as follows. Result : Occupational therapist empowerment was 3.66 and the highest meaningfulness highest followed by ability, self-determination, and influential power. Occupational therapist awareness was 4.45 and performance was 3.89. It was found that there was a slight statistically positive correlation between the occupational therapist empowerment and their degree of awareness of and performance in nosocomical infection control. Performance degree become an important influential factor to their empowerment. Conclusion : We could know that there was significant correlation between the occupational therapist awareness, performance in nosocomical infection control and their empowerment. There should be an exploration on methods for improving awareness and performance degree and thereby develop prevention educational programs through which one can be informed on how to prevent nosocomical infections by effective hospital acquired infection control.
