This study conveyed for the purpose of investigating the experience of teacher's
participating in the meeting for the voluntary teaching study in elementary school and
deduct implications from the research. For the systematic survey, the researcher conveyed
the research from meeting with students, observation of students, the class syllabus, teaching
plan and report of education, from five participating teachers who is participating the
meetings regularly. The researcher could deduct teacher's experiences as five categories. First,
participating teachers regarded their meeting as Challenging and Stimulant. Second,
participating teachers are not always conforming themselves from given school’s environment
but often against the reality of the academic circumstances, and participating the meeting of
the teaching study positively and collaboratively each other. Third, teachers participating the
meeting develops each of teacher's academic expertise through sharing experiences and
through practicing of the lessons. The growth of each teacher’s teaching specialty followed
as the growth of the research conference itself. Fourth, knowledge and result from the
research only shared among participated teachers. Thus the extent of the sharing was
limited. Fifth, research report and exhibition of the outcome which is necessary submission
material for the evaluation, applied as a significant factor for the activity of the meeting.
Through the study, the researcher could identify that class research meeting that comprised
voluntarily by teachers became an important motivation for the contemplation and research
of teaching in the class, and it creates significant influences on the growth of the teacher's
community and teaching culture. Also, the researcher could find the implication of the
research; the meeting is not only made growth teachers, but it also develops teacher’s
education in general and the system of the school itself.
