Purpose: The purpose of this study was to analyze the attitude toward immigrants and multicultural efficacy among nursing
college students. Method: The participants included 202 nursing college students by a convenience sample method.
The data were collected from October, 1 to 30, 2013 and analyzed using SPSS/PC Win 17.0 program. Result: The major
finding were as follows. First, The mean scores of attitude toward immigrants was 3.50. The highest score of item was
"I understand that the immigrants doesn't lazy". Second, The mean scores of multicultural efficacy was 3.65. The highest
score of item was "I should respect and accept the values of the other ethic group". Third, there was not correlation between
attitude toward immigrants and multicultural efficacy. Conclusion: Therefore, a variety of multicultural programs for
the nursing college students are needed for making the positive understanding on various cultures.
