본 연구의 목적은 육군 병사의 군 생활 스트레스, 자살생각이 군 생활 적응에 미치는 영향과 함께 사회 적 지지의 매개효과를 검증함으로써 각 변인들이 어떠한 인과관계를 통해 병사들의 군 생활 적응에 영향을 미치는지 분석 하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 육군 병사 297명을 대상으로 수집된 자료는 SPSS WIN 18.0 프로 그램으로 분석 하였으며, 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 군 생활 스트레스와 군 생활 적응, 자살생각과 군 생활 적응은 통계적으로 유의미한 부적결과를 보였다. 둘째, 군 생활 스트레스와 사회적 지지, 자살생각과 사회적 지지는 통계적으로 유의미한 부정적의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 세째, 사회적 지지원과 군 생활 적응, 사회적 지지 유형과 군 생활 적응은 통계적으로 유의미한 정적결과를 보였다. 넷째, 군 생활 스트레스와 자살생각이 군생활 적응에 미치는 영향 에서 사회적 지지는 매개효과가 있음을 확인하였다.
The purpose of this study was to examine the military adjustment of army soldiers, the impact of their suicidal ideation and social support for military adjustment and the mediation effect of social support in an effort to analyze influential factors for the military adjustment of soldiers. The collected data were analyzed by the statistical package SPSS WIN 18.0. The findings of the study were as follows: First, stress about military life had a statistically significant negative correlation with military adjustment, and suicidal ideation had a statistically significant negative correlation to that as well. Second, stress about military life and suicidal ideation exerted a statistically significant negative influence on social support. Third, the source of social support had a statistically significant positive correlation with military adjustment, and the type of social support had a statistically significant positive correlation to that as well. Fourth, Social support produced mediation effects when stress about military life and suicide ideation affected military adjustment.
