2015 개정 교육과정이 ‘창의 융합형 인재’ 양성을 위한 역량 개념을 중심으로 개정되었다. 지 금까지의 미술교육 역시 ‘사고력’이나 ‘판단력’, ‘표현력’이나 ‘조형력’ 등을 육성해 왔으며 실제 로는 교육과정에서 말하는 ‘핵심역량’의 이론이나 개념을 이미 다루고 실현해 왔다. 그러나 급변하는 상황에서 미술교육이 교과로서 특히 21세기 지식기반사회에서 요구되는 혁신이나 문제 해결을 위한 자질과 능력 육성에 필수적인 교과라는 것을 보다 명확하게 할 필요가 있 다. 역량 중심의 미술과 교육과정 개정은 포스트모더니즘 이후 중점적으로 도입된 개념으로 서 교육을 비롯하여 사회전반에서 능력이 중시되어 온 것과 관련된다. 본 연구에서는 특히 미술 감상교육에서의 ‘능력’에 대해 포스트모더니즘 관점에서 그 문제점과 내용, 적용 방안, 과제를 구체적으로 살펴보았다. 감상교육은 학습 전체가 능력 개념을 지지한다. 소통력, 사고력, 문화력을 통해 학습자 각 자가 미술의 세계를 탐구하고 내적 대화에 의해 의미를 만들고 인식하며 반성적으로 사고하 여 대화라는 사회적 커뮤니케이션에 의해 언어를 매개로 집단적으로 의미를 구성하는 경험은 DeSeCo에서 요구하는 핵심역량인 ‘도구의 상호작용적 사용’, ‘이질적 집단에서의 교류’, ‘자율 적 활동’, 나아가 핵심역량의 심장인 ‘사고-반성성’의 실현을 가능하게 하는 것이다. 이러한 포스트모더니즘형 능력의 관점에서 감상교육에 대한 인식, 이와 동시에 학습자의 감상 능력 향상을 가능하게 하는 교사의 실천 역량이 요구된다.
This study is to consider about ‘competence’ of 2015 National Art curriculum in Korea, especially as object of art appreciation education. The National Art Curriculum and Art appreciation Education reflect the content and objectives of the National curriculum. At the same time, it is also necessary to consider about Reflectiveness-It means the critical thinking-, as key competence of DeSeCo Project. The research results were as follows. 1. The essence of art education and art appreciation education should reflect thinking ability, as like as education. 2. The competencies of communication, thinking, culture could be utilized with the structure of education in aspects of cognitive & meta-cognitive, materials utilized, the expression of learning, and learning content in art appreciation education. 3. Art appreciation education is to support the whole concept of learning. Through competencies of communication, critical thinking and culture in art appreciation, every learners explore Art world individually, create a meaning and recognition by the inner conversations, make reflective thinking and conversation in social communication, constitute the meaning of the language collectively. This enables the practice of key competence required by the DeSeCo Project. The competency is important to the approach in the need for knowledge, technic and methods in Education because we can provide a reflective questions about the meaning of Art education and learning.
