This study attempts to present a career group program using strokes and examine its influence on the
career maturity and career self-efficacy of the elementary school students. For this research, 16 elementary
students in the upper grades in Gyeongsangnam-do Province who wished to attend in this program
selected as the subjects. 8 of them were assigned in the experiment group and the rest 8 in the control
group. The results of this study were as follows; First, the career maturity in the experiment group
applied the career group program using the stroke was’t improved meaningfully in comparison with the
control group. Second, the career self-efficacy in the experiment group applied the career group program
using the stroke was improved meaningfully in comparison with the control group. According to the
over-all result of this study, the career group program using the stroke didn’t have a meaningful influence
on the career maturity of elementary school student. However, it indicates to give positive influence on the
career self-efficacy. This shows the design of the stroke activities considering the feature of the career
maturity is necessary composing the future group program for improving the career maturity, and the
career group program utilizing the stroke gives meaningful influence on the self-confidence in exploring,
deciding, or performing the career due to have a positive effect on the career self-efficacy.
