본 연구는 대집단 그림책 감상 활동에서 나타난 3-5세 유아의 언어반응을 알아보기 위해서 실시되었 다. 연구대상은 서울시에 위치한 4개 유치원의 연령별 2학급으로 총 6개 학급이며 연구를 위하여 생활 동화, 전래동화, 환상동화, 지식정보동화 각 1권씩 총 4권의 그림책이 사용되었다. 연구 기간 동안 6 개 학급의 유아들은 장르별로 1권씩의 동화를 감상하였으며 동화감상 시 유아들의 자유로운 발화를 녹음하여 전사하였다. 전사한 내용은 연령별 언어반응 수, 언어반응 내용, 언어반응 유형으로 구분하 여 분석하였다. 연구결과는 첫째, 3-5세 유아의 언어반응의 수는 4세> 3세> 5세의 순으로 나타났으 며, 4세의 반응은 5세와 비교하여 유의미한 차이가 있었다. 둘째, 반응내용은 3세, 4세가 5세아 보다 등장인물에 대한 반응이 유의미하게 높게 나타났다. 셋째, 반응유형은 3-5세 모두 정보적 발견을 가 장 많이 나타냈으며, 정보적, 발견적, 개인적 반응에서 연령별로 유의미한 차이가 있었다.
The purpose of this study is to look over 3-5-years children’ verbal response about large group listening to picture book. 3-5years children of six classes. In order to find the results, children of 2 classes each by age, sum 6 classes from 4 kindergarden participated in this study. We select 4 picture books and children of 3, 4, 5 years classes were listened it by large group. While they listening by large group, we recorded and written their’response to each picture books. And the statistical processing was done with using the SPSS 14.0 program. The results of this study are as follows. The first result of the study show that quantity of 3-5-years children’ verbal response was order of 4>3>5 years. 4 and 5 years was statistically significant differences. The second result of the study show that there are differences 3 years children than 5 years children and 4 years children than 5 years children to characters response in verbal contents. The third result of the study show that type of 4 years children’ verbal response appeared was statistically significant differences in informative, heuristic and individual response than other age children.
