본 연구는 중학생이 지각한 개인적 변인인 학업적 자기 효능감과 가정 환경적 변인인 부모의 교육적 관여가 학교적응에 어떤 영향을 미치는지 살펴보기 위한 것이다. 이를 위해 중학생 280명을 대상으로 자기 보고형 학업적 자기효능감 척도와 부모학습 관여 척도, 학교 적응 척 도를 사용하였고 변인들의 관계성을 검증하기 위해 상관분석과 다중회귀 분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과, 중학생의 학업적 자기효능감과 부모의 교육적 관여 그리고 학교적응 간에는 서로 상관이 있으며, 두 변인 모두 중학생의 학교 적응에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 세부적 으로 보면, 학교적응에 학업적 자기효능감이 부모의 교육적 관여보다 상대적으로 영향력이 컸다. 가정 환경적 변인인 부모의 교육적 관여는 아버지의 교육적 관여가 어머니의 교육적 관여보다 상대적으로 영향력이 컸다. 다중회귀분석으로 상대적으로 유의미한 정도를 측정한 결과, 학업적 자기효능감, 아버지의 교육적 관여 순으로 학교적응에 유의미한 영향을 미쳤으 나, 어머니의 교육적 관여는 유의미하지 않았다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 중학생의 학교 적응 에 영향을 미치는 개인적 변인 학업적 자기효능감과 부모의 교육적 관여의 필요성과 아버지 의 교육적 관여와 어머니의 교육적 관여의 고려 점과 그 의의에 대해 논의하였다.
The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of academic self-efficacy and father' and mother's involvement in education perceived by middle school students to school adjustment. The subjects were 280 middle school students (147 boys, 130 girls and 3 no answer) selected from three middle schools in Seoul area. Academic self-efficacy scale, parental involvement in education scale and school adjustment scale for students were used. In analyzing data, this study used SPSS statistics program 19.0 and statistical methods such as correlation analysis, simple linear regression, and multiple regressions. The main results are as follows that first; there were positive relationship between academic self-efficacy, parental involvement in education and school adjustment. Second, effect of academic self-efficacy was in relationship school adjustment. Third, effect of parental involvement in education was in relationship school adjustment. Forth, effect of academic self-efficacy and father's involvement was in relationship school adjustment. But mother's involvement was not in relationship. It was discussed to develop and manage school adjustment for students and father's involvement in education, and parent education and counseling effectively for adolescent.
