The purpose of this study was to determine what is the effect on the ability to self-management and
communication skills development aimed at pre-university social workers, and serve as a basis for preemployment
programs for social workers. Establishing specific research problems based on this research. First,
what about communication skills of pre-university social worker? Second, what about self-care and social
workers develop skills of pre-college students? Third, depending on the communication skills of pre-university
How does the social worker to evaluate the impact on self-management and development skills? Establish a
hypothesis for this purpose, and were analyzed using descriptive statistics, correlation, regression model. To
verify these research questions were surveyed from October 2015 until May 10, October 19 targeting social
welfare section Students in Gyeonggi Province. The collected data were analyzed by using the SPSS 20.0
were obtained the following results. first. General information on the communication skills and
self-management skills to look for in accordance with the gender communication and self-management skills
in the case of a man self-management skills shown by 3.92 points and 3.63 points women were higher
than men women showed significant differences. The doctor by education and communication were the high
points was the result of examining the self-management appeared to be relatively high capacity three-year,
two grades higher in self-management skills. Third, whether there is any correlation between communication
skills and self-care physicians the ability of college students know the result of the preliminary social workers
self-management skills, communication skills, most physicians were significantly correlated static. University of
Social Workers preliminary results of this study will be the basis to develop a program that can jeunjin
self-management skills and development of the communication skills.
