본 연구는 기초학업기술평가: 읽기(ABAS: R)의 타당화를 위하여 신뢰도와 타당도를 확인하는 데 목적을 두고 있다. 본 연구는 목적을 달성하기 위하여 전국 유치원의 5세부터 중학교 3학년까 지의 아동 992명을 대상으로 ABAS: R을 실시하였다. 연구의 결과 ABAS: R의 반분신뢰도는 .95, 문항반응이론 신뢰도 .99, 문항내적 일치도는 .76, 측정의 표준오차는 전체적으로 .78인 것으로 나 타났으며, ABAS: R과 KISE-BAAT(읽기)의 상관계수는 전체적으로 .91, 평가영역간 상과계수는 .74에서 .90의 범위에 있는 것으로 나타났다. 그러므로 ABAS: R은 유치원부터 중학교 3학년까지 아동의 읽기 학습능력과 학업성취 및 읽기 기초기술에 대하여 일관되고 타당한 정보를 제공해 줄 수 있는 읽기 학력검사라 할 수 있다.
The purpose of this study is to test reliability and validity for validation of ABAS: R. In order to achieve the purpose of study, it was administered with 992 children from kindergarten to middle school level. The results of this study are as follows: First, the results of reliability test of ABAS; R shows split-half coefficients of .95, item response theory reliability coefficient of .99, Cronbach's coefficient alpha of .76, and standard error of measurement of .78. Second, the results of validity test of ABAS: R shows that correlation coefficient of ABAS: R and KISE-BAAT(Reading) is .91 and intercorrelation coefficient between subtests range from .74 to .90. Therefore, reliability and validity of ABAS: R are considered as satisfactory and could be recommended as an appropriate reading academic achievement test.
