우리나라 지체장애인 주거환경 개선을 위하여 지체장애인의 정의와 휠체어 사용자의 동작 특성에 대해 알아본 결과, 단위 동작 공간에서 최소한의 범위를 확보하지 못할 경우 공간 사용을 못하게 되거나 상당한 불편함을 가지게 된다. 특히 화장실과 부엌의 동작 공간 확보는 장애인 본인의 신변 처리기능과 깊은 관계가 있으므로 공간의 확보가 필요하다. 또한 지체장애인의 생활영역은 단위생 활공간으로 한정되는 경향이 있어 동작공간에 대한 분석을 통하여 유효동작 면적을 결정하고 조절 할 수 있는 방안이 필요하다. 이에 본 연구는 지체장애인의 주거환경 개선에 관한 선행논문을 바탕 으로 연구하였다. 그 결과 주거환경의 개선사항을 제시하였다. 따라서 본 연구는 후천적 원인에 의 해 장애를 갖게 된 지체장애인(휠체어 사용자)들을 위한 올바른 주거환경 개선방향을 제시하고자 한다.
This study's purpose of the present status of Korean handicapped and the previous trend. The handicapped have the least range of the motion in the space and have feelings the discomfortable. Specially, handicapped need space of the bath room and kitchen, there are relationship self-care. Therefor, when the residential alterations, consideration about universal design. Also decision about the real movement space and method of the control the motion space. In conclusion, this study is intended to suggest the design guidelines for residential alterations improvements on the handicapped(wheelchair users) housing.
