The purpose of this study is to find ways for facilitating public education
of childcare, based on analyzing the current childcare service delivery system
which are divided into administration, execution and support systems. The
results of this study appeared as the followings. First, a centralized
administration system needs to be established by integrating childcare and
kindergarten education. Second, the executive organization of childcare
service needs to change. Third, a policy needs to be made that incorporates
childcare into public education. Fourth, the integration of childcare and
kindergarten education is needed. Above all, for the purpose of achieving a
public education of childcare, the government will need to develop a
systematic and comprehensive policy towards this end, and to establish the
foundation for expanded financial support.
