본 연구의 목적은 동시출현단어 분석을 통하여 국내 미술치료학의 지적구조를 규명함으 로써 미술치료학 분야의 구체적인 연구영역을 식별하고 학문적 정체성을 확립하는 데에 있다. 이를 위하여 「미술치료연구」에 게재된 854편의 논문에서 추출된 1,136개의 단어 중에서 상위 고빈도 단어인 175개 단어에 대한 유사도 행렬을 작성하고, 계층적 군집분석 과 네트워크 분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 실천적 학문인 미술 치료학의 지적구조를 분석하는 데에는 군집 분석보다 네트워크 분석이 더 적합한 것으로 나타났으며 국내 미술치료학 지적구조는 ‘미술치료 이론’, ‘검사 및 척도’, ‘미술치료 임상사 례’, ‘미술치료 동향’, ‘미술치료사 훈련’의 다섯 가지 연구영역으로 구성된 것을 알 수 있었 다. 둘째, 미술치료는 작품 안에서 나타나는 심리적 특성을 살펴보고 심리학과 미술을 기 반으로 그것을 변화시키고자 하는 도구로서, 다른 학문 분야와 구별되는 지적구조가 형성 되어 있는 것을 확인하였다. 이러한 결과는 계량정보학적인 방법을 통하여 국내 미술치료 학 분야의 지적구조를 체계적이고 과학적으로 규명하였다는 데에 의의가 있겠다.
The purpose of this study is to identify research areas of art therapy in detail and establish its academic identity by analyzing co-occurrences of key words, and investigating the intellectual structure of Korean art therapy. Thus, a similarity matrix was developed including the 175 most frequently used words among 1,136 words, which were extracted from 845 research papers published in「Korean Journal of Art Therapy」, and a hierarchical cluster analysis and network analysis were performed. Consequently, this study found the following results. First, network analysis is more appropriate for analyzing the intellectual structure of ar therapy which is a practical study than cluster analysis, and the intellectual structure of Korean art therapy consists of the five research areas of “art therapy theory”, “testing and scales”, “clinical cases of art therapy”, “art therapy trend”, and “training for art therapists”. Second, it confirmed that art therapy as a tool to examine one’s psychological characteristics presented in a work and change them based on psychology and art, has an intellectual structure that is different from that of other studies. This study explored the intellectual structure of Korean art therapy in a systematic and scientific way by utilizing an informetric method.
