인재상은 대학이 체계적이고 의도적인 교육 활동을 통해 길러 내고자 하는 인재의 모습을 보여주며, 대학의 교육 목표와 방향을 함축적으로 나타내고 있다. 본 연구는 우 리나라 전체 대학을 대상으로 그들이 추구하는 인재상과 이를 구성하는 요소들의 양상 을 체계적으로 분석하고자 하였다. 또한 대학이 처한 환경, 즉, 설립 주체 및 대학의 연구경쟁력 정도에 따라 인재상이 어떻게 다르게 나타나는지도 살펴보고자 하였다. 이 러한 연구 목적을 달성하기 위하여 본 연구는 전국 176개 4년제 일반대학의 인재상을 수집하여 분석하였다. 구체적으로 각 대학의 인재상을 구성하는 요소(키워드)들을 도출 하여 빈도분석을 실시하였다. 또한 키워드들이 서로 어떻게 구조적으로 연계되어 있는 지를 규명하기 위하여 네트워크 텍스트 분석(network text analysis)을 수행하였다. 분석 결과, 대학 인재상이 창의성, 전문성, 글로벌과 같은 키워드들을 중심으로 구조적 관계 성을 가지면서 고밀도로 집중되는 동질화, 획일화 현상을 보이고 있었다. 대학의 설립 주체 및 연구경쟁력 정도에 따라 대학의 인재상은 일부 차이가 있었다.
The images of college graduates of Korean four-year universities include the competencies or talents that each institution intends to bring up through systematic and intentional educational activities. In addition, the images of college graduates are closely and inevitably related to the educational goals and direction of the university. The purpose of this study was to analyze the characteristics and the trend of the overall images of college graduates of Korean universities. In order to achieve the research goal, first of all, the researchers conducted frequency analysis of key words that constitute the images of the graduates of the 176 four-year general universities. The researchers also conducted network text analysis to identify how the key words tare structurally linked to each other. As a result of the analyses, it was concluded that the images of college graduates tend to be homogeneity. Moreover, the homogenization phenomenon was rather concentrated at high density with relation to some key words such as creativity, professionalism and global.
