The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of supervision
factors on the role performance of the public sector case manager
centered on the Heemangjiwon Team integrated case managers. For
the study, on the subjects of integrated case managers in the
Heemangjiwon Team in cities counties‐districts, this study conducted
a self report survey using a structured questionnaire, and this study
finally used a total of 204 copies of the questionnaire. The principal
results of the study are as follows. First, Heemangjiwon Team
supervision was peer supervision is the most frequently utilized. As a
result of examining the level of case manager role performance
according to the sociodemographic characteristics of the research
subjects, when they have social welfare majors, social workers'
qualifications, jobs in urban areas other than in rural areas and the
social welfare field experience, and when supervisor are married, have
the certificate of 1st grade social worker, have a Master's degree,
they are likely to perform case manager roles the better. Individual
variables affecting case manager role performance were in the order of
educational supervision, supervisor‐supervisee relationship, the
highest level of schooling of the respondents and career management
experience of respondents. The practical implications based on the
results are discussed.
