박물관은 현재 사회교육기관이자 평생교육기관으로서의 역할이 증대되고 있고, 관람객도 그에 대한 기대치 가 올라가고 있다. 박물관의 평생교육기관으로서의 역할을 수행할 수 있는 교육 프로그램 개발 방안으로 ‘다 른 학문과의 융합’을 제시하고자 한다. 본 연구에서는 ‘다른 학문과의 융합’ 사례를 국립민속박물관에서 개발 된 ‘나를 찾아 떠나는 시간여행’을 선정하였다. 본 교육 프로그램은 일생의례라는 주제를 활용하여 박물관에서 진행된 표현예술 치료 프로그램이다. ‘일생 의례’라는 주제는 박물관과 심리치료가 융합할 수 있는 연결고리가 되어주었다. 따라서 ‘나를 찾아 떠나는 시간여행’을 통해 일생의례 주제를 활용한 융합교육 프로그램에 대한 개선 방안을 모색해 보고자 하였다. 본 교육프로그램은 박물관이라는 대중적인 공간과 심리치료라는 분야가 결합된 프로그램으로 학습자들의 거부감을 최소화시켰고, 전시실과 연계된 수업으로 학습자들이 전시를 통해 일생의례를 이해할 수 있도록 유도하였다. 그러나 일생의례에 대한 흐름이나 의례의 중요성과 관련된 부분에 대해 개선 방안이 필요한 것으 로 나타났으며, 현재 교육 프로그램에서 누락된 의례들과 현재까지의 변화에 대한 이론적인 설명에 대한 개선 이 필요하다. 이처럼 다양한 학문을 박물관에서 활용한다면 보다 다양한 교육 프로그램 개발이 가능할 것이 다.
As museums’ roles have been increased as the mordern institutions of social and life-long education, the spectators’ expectations go up as well. For the performing of these museums’ roles, each museum should accept a various of changes in the current social atmosphere. In this situation, I suggest that “the combination of other studies” should be an alternative way of education developing program. In this study, I choose that the main example of “the combination with other studies” would be the very fine education program called “the time travel for understanding myself” which was developed by National Korean Folk talk museum. Using the theme of longlife-ritual, the National Korean Folk museum performed expressional art treatment to the students. At that time, the theme called “the combination of other studies” was the connection between museums and psycologial treatment. Thus, through the theme “the time travel for understanding myself”, I will check out other alternative improvement ways of the combination with other studies.
