This study aimed to search self-determination improvement of middle school
students with intellectual disabilities in inclusive class through self-expression
program. The participants were five middle school students with intellectual
disabilities in inclusive class. This study proceeded 20 session program and
implemented pre and post self-determination capacity test to measure the
change of students. And this study added complementary evaluation reports of
their teachers and parents. The analysis of data progressed through wilcoxon
signed-ranks test. The results were as follows as. First, self-expression
reinforcement program had positive influence about self-determination
improvement of middle school students with intellectual disabilities in inclusive
class. Especially, self-awareness and problem solution area had greatest
influence. Second, while evaluation report of their teachers appeared as
significant differences, their parents report appeared as little difference. It
turned out that due to the high level of parental assessment to students.
