본 연구는 특수교사들의 다문화 이해도와 다문화 효능감을 알아보는 목적이 있다. 연구의 대상은 광주광역시 4개 특수학교 초등특수교사 105명이며, 다문화 이해도와 다문화 효능감 설문조사를 하였 다. 본 연구의 분석은 기술통계와 t검정, F검증을 하였으면 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 초등 특수 교사는 교직 경력에 따라서 다문화 효능감에 차이가 있었다. 둘째, 초등 특수교사는 다문화교육 연수 경험과 다문화 업무담당 경험에 따라서 다문화 이해도가 더 긍정적이었다. 따라서 특수교사의 다문화 교육 관련 연수프로그램 확대가 필요하겠다.
The purpose of the study is to find out understanding of multiculturalism and multicultural efficacy among special education teachers. The subjects of the study are 105 elementary special education teachers from four special education school located in Gwangju and asurvey about understanding of multiculturalism and multicultural efficacy wasconducted among the subjects. The study was analyzed with descriptive statistics, t-test and f-test and the results are as in the following: First, there was difference in multicultural efficacy depending on one’s teaching career. Second, the more work experience related to multiculturalism elementary special education teachershave, the better understanding they have of multiculturalism. Therefore, it is necessary to expand the training program regarding multicultural education for special education teachers.
