The high share of specified mode in unspecified multiple trip indicates heavy reliance on that mode.
And these mode-choice class may be different from common case in the mode choice behavior for change
of the traffic circumstances as such travel time and cost. Generally, it is known that traveler choose mode
considering psychometric factors(feelings of autonomy, self-esteem) and habitual behavior besides their own
socio-economic characteristics indicators. Accordingly, many researches has investigated on mode choice to
reflect psychometric factor or specific preference. In this study, travelers were classified into four groups by
their choice frequency of private car and public transit in unspecified multiple trip(car-dependent, car-choice,
public transit-choice, public transit-dependent class). And the characteristics of each group were comparative
analyzed by applying logistic regression.
