본 연구의 목적은 예비유아교사가 ADHD 유아에 대해 어떻게 바라보고 있고 의미를 부여하는지 은유분석을 통해 알아보는 것이다. 이를 위해 경남지역의 대학교에 재학 중인 예비유아교사 총 208명 을 대상으로 선정하여 2015년 9월 14일부터 9월 30일까지 자료를 수집하였다. 자료는 체계적 은유분 석을 근거하여 이루어졌으며, 범주화하고 수량화하였다. 예비유아교사들이 생각하는 ADHD에 대한 인식을 분석한 결과, 상위 내용유형은 특성, 지원 방안, 강점이 나타났으며, 하위 내용유형은 산만성, 충동성, 과잉행동, 비사회성, 개인적 지원, 사회적 지원, 창조화, 다양화, 집중화 총 9개 유형이 도출되 었다. 요컨대, 첫째 예비유아교사는 ADHD 유아의 행동적 특성에 주목하였다. 둘째, 전반적으로 부정 적 인식을 하였으며, 마지막으로 개인적 지원과 사회적 지원을 중요하게 지각하였다. 따라서 ADHD 유아의 강점을 부각시키면서 부정적 행동특성을 긍정적으로 보완할 수 있는 대안적 관점을 근거한 교사교육을 지향해야할 것이다.
The purpose of this study is to know how pre-service teachers perceive the concept "ADHD" and add a meaning to ADHD through metaphor analysis. For this purpose, 208 pre-service early childhood teachers who were the students of university in Gyeongnam area were selected as target objects, and data were collected from September 14-30, 2015. The data were both categorized and quantified based on the systematic metaphor analysis. As a result, nine categories of “ADHD” were classified: 1) distractibility, 2) impulsivity, 3) hyperactivity, 4) antisociality, 5) personal support, 6) social support, 7) creativity, 8) diversification, and 9) concentration. In summary, first pre-service teachers focused on behavioral characters of the children with ADHD. Second, they recognized about children with ADHD negatively. Lastly, they put a emphasis on personal and social support. Thus, they have to aim for pre-teacher education based on alternative perspective and approach that can be considered the children's strength and complemented their negative behaviors
