Purpose: The purpose of this study was to analyze current for ten years research Trends of curriculum for
students with severe and multiple disabilities in Korea. Through this study, we suggested tasks and direction of
future research and base data for effective curriculum development of students with severe and multiple
disabilities. Method: For we reviewed, 25 papers published in domestic professional journals over the past 10
years from 2007 to 2016. The results of the study were as follows. Results: First, the trends of curriculum for
students with severe and multiple disabilities were analyzed quantitatively according to four variables: publication
year, research method, research area, and redundancy type. Second, the qualitative analysis of the study on the
curriculum for students with severe and multiple disabilities showed that five main categories: The basic
curriculum organization and operation, the direction and teaching method of subject matter education, the theory
and model of curriculum, review of overseas curriculum, the others. Conclusion: Based on the above results, we
searched major issues in the curriculum for students with severe and multiple disabilities and suggested the
direction of follow –up study.
