본 연구는 ‘창의성과 인성의 상관’이라는 논제에 관하여 유교의 교의(敎義)를 통해, 특히 ‘도 덕적 인간형성에 관여하는 창의적 사유의 작동 가능성’에 주목함으로써, 이로부터 제기되는 몇 가지 교육적 시사를 시론적으로 다루고 있다. 이를 통해 이 글은 다음과 같은 시사점을 도 출하고 있다. 첫째, 유가의 가치론과 도덕인식론은 인성교육에서 창의적 사유가 작동할 수 있 는 토대를 제공한다. 둘째, 유가의 도덕인식론은 직관을 중요한 요소로 제기한다는 점에서 창 의적 사유와 밀접한 관련을 맺는다. 셋째, 경험적 사태 속에서 종합 판단을 요청하는 유가의 공부론은 Guilford가 제기한 확산적 사고의 요소 중 특히 융통성과 밀접한 관련을 맺고 있다.
This study focuses on the possibility of creative thinking that is related to moral human formation through the teaching of Confucianism on the topic of ‘creativity and humanity’, and discusses some educational implications from this point of view. This study suggests the following implications. First, Confucian values and moral epistemology provide the foundation for creative thinking to work in moral education. Second, Confucian moral epistemology is related to creative thinking in that intuition is an important factor. Third, Confucian moral education theory which requires comprehensive judgment in empirical situations is closely related to the flexibility of Guilford’s divergment thinking elements.
