The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between teachong aptitude, college life
satisfaction, and teacher‘s efficacy of pre-service early childhood teachers, and to investigate the effect of
teaching aptitude and satisfatiction of college life on teacher’s efficacy of pre-service early childhood
teachers. The subjects of this study were selected from 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade college students attending
Early Childhood Education Department of University A. The questionnaires were administered to 200
pres-service teachers selected for the study. Statistical analysis was performed using the SPSS WIN 21.0v
program. The significance level was p <.05, p <.01, p <.001. The results of the study are as follows. First,
there was a significant correlation between pre-service teachers' teaching aptitude, college life satisfaction,
and teacher efficacy. The study results showed that the higher the satisfaction of college life was, the
higher the teaching aptitude and the teacher efficacy were, and the higher the teaching aptitude, the higher
the teacher efficacy. Second, teaching aptitude of pre-service early childhood teachers had a significant
effect on teacher efficacy. Third, the satisfaction of pre-service early childhood teachers had a significant
effect on teacher efficacy.
