The purpose of this study is to inform the proper usage of cosmetics for elementary school students at the level of their eyes based on the research and analysis on their current conditions of purchasing and usage of cosmetics. The objects of this study are 4th, 5th, and 6th graders, and picked 288 students as the sample conducting a survey. The data based on the survey was analyzed by the program SPSS WIN 21.0. The result shows that 42.4% of the sample are currently using makeup cosmetics, and the higher the grade is the more types of cosmetics are being used. Among the students who responded that they use makeup cosmetics, 70.5% of the students removed their makeup only with regular hand soap or cleansing foam instead of double face washing. Also, the analysis shows that 21.5% of thes tudents purchase the cosmetics by their own. As indicated in this study, the rate of elementary school students’ usage of cosmetics has been increasing, but the opportunities of learning the proper usage of cosmetics are rare. Therefore, providing the information of proper usage of cosmetics and education for the elementary school students in the way for them to understand easily are necessary.
