Ths study aimed to understand the characteristics of the emotional- behavioral problem extents and
types between the children showing school refusal and normal children. As shown in the
result of this study, there are statistically significant differences in the characteristics of
the emotional- behavioral problem extents and types between the children showing school
refusal and normal children. The developments of many kinds of intervention programs and
selecting methods will be needed in the future to explore the ways to overcome these
differences and to intervene them early.
