The results of the research are summarized below: First, among the telecasters, satisfaction in appearance
is led by singers and followed, in descending order by voice actors, announcers, and comedians. Second,
concerning the awareness of cosmetic surgery, surgery is viewed most positively for singers followed by
voice actors, comedians, and announcers, in that order. Concerning the experience of cosmetic surgery, singers ranked at the top followed in order by voice actors, comedians, and announcers. Concerning the
area where cosmetic surgery was performed, areas were in order of eyes, nose, contour of the face,
wrinkles, teeth, and mouth. For future surgeries, potential areas were ranked as contour of the face, eyes,
teeth, and body shaping in order of possibility. Third, concerning awareness of a realistic self-image, most
broadcasters think that projecting an image of being natural & comfortable is best followed by cute and
vivacious, sophisticated and having strong personality, strength, sexy and attractive image, tough, elegant
and intellectual, and innocent and pure. Concerning awareness of the ideal self-image, in particular, most
broadcasters think that they present an image of being sophisticated and strong personality, natural and
comfortable, sexy and attractive, cute and vivacious, and elegant and intellectual, in that order.
