This study is to examine the effects of the integrated lessons of art and social studies on learners' multicultural
acceptance. Early multicultural education subjects were limited to children in multicultural families.
Recent years, it includes a larger number of society. This study was designed as an action plan for
non-multicultural society to cultivate multicultural acceptance. With learnt visual culture and advertisement
design in the art class, students created advertisements on the theme of acceptance of multiculturalism.
Furthermore, students are going to have a class associated with social studies to understand and have
an attitude toward diverse cultures. As a result, the experimental group showed significant differences in
every multicultural acceptance indicators – Multiculturalism acceptability examination for teenagers, Class
satisfaction of integrated lessons and Practical works. In conclusion, it indicates that the integrated art-social
study course gave a positive effect to 2nd grade middle school students on accepting multiculturalism.
