본 논문에서는 대학생들의 학교생활의 안정감을 향상시키기 위해 안드로이드를 이용한 룸메이트 매칭 시스템을 개발하였다. 대학생들이 룸메이트를 구하는데 어려움을 겪는 상황과 룸메이트와 생활 패턴이 맞지 않아 많은 불편함을 겪는 대학생들의 고민을 해소하기 위해 안드로이드를 활용한 부동 산 룸메이트 매칭 시스템을 구현하였다. 개발결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 안드로이드 어플리케이션 방 식을 이용한 룸메이트 매칭 시스템은 조작이 편리하다. 둘째, 우선순위 알고리즘을 이용하므로 시간 과 비용을 최소화할 수 있다. 셋째, 선호하는 룸메이트 조건을 자유롭게 조정할 수 있어 최적의 룸메 이트 매칭 기회를 높여준다. 이를 통해 대학생들의 사회적 안정감과 대학생활의 만족감 향상이 기대 되며 룸메이트 선호조건에 대한 자신들의 조건과 우선순위 변수를 충분히 반영함으로써 보다 쉽고 편리하게 룸메이트를 구할 수 있어 룸메이트를 구하는 과정의 어려움을 해소하고 자신과 성향이 맞 는 룸메이트를 추천받을 수 있게 하였다.
The present paper reports on the development of an Android-based roommate matching system designed to enhance students’ sense of stability in their college life. The real estate roommate matching system for Android is implemented in order to address the difficult circumstances college students trouble to find a roommate and solve the issues they are suffering from the inconvenience due to the different life patterns of their roommates. The development results are as follows. First, it was found that the Android-based roommate matching system is easy to operate. Second, it was revealed that time and costs for finding a roommate can be minimized through a prioritization algorithm. Third, the system was found to improve the chances of finding an optimal roommate by allowing users to freely adjust their preferred roommate requirements. Through such features, the system is expected to enhance students’ sense of social stability and college life satisfaction, and by fully reflecting variables on their conditions for roommate preferences and priorities, it gets easier and more convenient to find a roommate, therefore difficulties from the process of finding a roommate can be handled and users will receive recommendations of roommates with similar preferences with them.
