This article inquired the transforming-body movement pattern in Japan animation Season
1~6 and analysed its meaning as an aesthetic strategy through the Effort-Shape Theory of Laban Movement
Analysis. During the 1990s became widespread into sub-culture by shaping the discourse on
the visual element and narrative structure. In particular, as the representative work with popularity, the
visual appearances of main character in have created identity issues and brought influence
to bear on the style of contemporary magical girl genre animation. By using the Effort-Shape Analysis of
movement, this article examined that the character girl’s movement pattern functioned as an expression of inner impulse, and analysed its signification. The various factors of movement patterns are expressed to
serve the purpose of each scene effectively. Major driver and significant enabler of the perfection of
aesthetic fantasy in is hidden in the transforming-body movement pattern.
