In contrast to the recognition of the importance of teachers' variables for promoting the creativity of
gifted students, research on the creative characteristics of gifted student‘s teachers has been lacking. In
general, gifted students are reported to be more creative than ordinary students, and each gifted talent needs
more creative stimulation and emotional support to bloom their own creativity. Therefore, it is very
important and necessary to have a real and deep understanding of the creative characteristics of gifted and
talented teachers in order to create a successful educational environment that can directly direct the subjects
of gifted education and encourage their creative achievement. Therefore, This study examined the creative
thinking ability of the gifted and talented teachers using the TTCT test tool. And the differences according
to school grade, career, gender, gifted education field were compared and analyzed. As a result of research,
the creativity of teachers for gifted students had significant difference according to school level and career.
It was surveyed that there is no significant difference depending on gender and gifted-student education field. This outcome will be able to be utilized as basic data for strengthening professionalism of domestic
teaching manpower for gifted students and for developing efficient capability.
