간호학의 임상실습교육은 학생이 임상현장에서 직접 대 상자를 대면하여 학교에서 습득한 이론 지식과 간호술기를 실무에 적용하는 학습과정이며, 전문직 간호사가 되기 위한 필수 교육요소이다(Nelwati, McKenna, & Plummer, 2013). 간호대학생은 간호학 학사교육과정 동안 이론교육과 임상 실습교육을 병행해야 하며 병원이라는 친숙하지 못한 환경 에서 타 의료인과 상호관계를 하면서 학생신분으로서 제한 적인 실무환경을 접하게 됨으로써 타 학과의 대학생에 비 해 더 많은 스트레스를 경험한다(한선희, 유혜순, 2012).
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to analyze the structure and characteristics of nursing college students' personality- based on coping according to clinical practice stress. Method: A Q-methodology was used to identify factors in nursing college students' personality-based on coping according to clinical practice stress. The 34 selected Q-sample from each of 28 subjects were classified into a shape of normal distribution using a 9 point scale. The collected data was analyzed using a QUANL PC program. Result: The analysis identified four types on coping according to clinical practice stress among nursing college students. The categories were labeled ‘active acceptance’ type, ‘effort’ type, ‘emotional eruption’ type, ‘patience’ type. Conclusion: Through the study of learner's point of view, it is hoped that a differentiated clinical practice education program will be utilized to reduce the clinical practice stress and maximize the effect of nursing practice education through stress coping strategy.
