This research, with integrated art education for children with under achievement as an example, has as
its purpose making pre-service elementary teachers acquire the devised integrated art program and
analyze its effect. For this research, every week for 2 hours and 10 times, the integrated art education
was conducted and in that process, the pre-service elementary teachers conducted a pre-post inspection
for perception change examination that is formed by understanding children with under achievement, the
positive perception of pre-service elementary teachers, need for integrated art education, whether the
teacher education process has changed and the expectation of program application expected effect. Also,
a detailed Focus Group Interview to analyze the results of the program was conducted. As a result, first,
the perception change of pre-service elementary teachers of children with under achievement after the
program was very positive. Second, an education need through artistic media was brought to the children
with under achievement and through this, a change to pre-service elementary teachers’ practice
supervision ability increase was brought. Third, it could be confirmed that ‘the integrated art education
program centering on dancing’ materialized perception for one’s existence such as self-perception,
perception of others and increase of sociability and made possible new perceptions and acceptance of
relationship formation. Such research is considered to help practically the on-scene supervision of children
with under achievement by the pre-service elementary teachers in the future.
