본 연구는 대구광역시 남구지역 내 208명의 자활지원사업 참여자들을 대상으 로, 자활지원사업에 대한 만족도와 자활지원사업에 대한 당사자의 평가 등을 분 석하였다. 그 결과 이 지역의 자활사업 참여자들은 전반적인 자활가능성에 대해 낮게 전망하고 있었으며, 희망하는 일자리는 정부지원 근로형태인 것으로 나타 났다. 자활가능성에 대해 부정적 이유는 경쟁력의 취약성으로 나타났다. 참여자 의 인구사회학적 특성에서는 단독세대 및 한부모 세대유형이 다수를 차지하면 서, 가족문제와 관련한 지원서비스의 필요성이 나타났다. 자활지원사업에 대한 만족도 조사 결과에서 교육부문의 만족도는 매우 낮게 분석되었다. 또한 계층, 학력, 성별에 따라 자활지원사업 일부 부문별 만족도의 차이가 있는 것으로 나 타났다. 참여자들은 자활지원사업을 통한 자립여부에 대해 부정적으로 평가하고 있었으며, 이에 따라 자활지원사업의 안정적인 운영 등을 요구하였다. 따라서 향 후 자활사업을 성공적으로 추진하기 위해서는 참여당사자에 대한 사례관리 강화 등 체계적 관리와 자활소득공제 등의 근로인센티브강화, 자활사업 유형의 다양 화 등이 보완되어야 할 것으로 보인다.
This study attempts at analyzing determinants of satisfaction and self-confidence between participants in the Self-support Program. From this analysis, it is expected to tell which methods have central influence on them and which factors determine the satisfaction and self-confidence. For meeting the purpose of this study, I analyze 208 participants of self-help program in Daegu through quantitative statistic methods. As a result of the research, it was analyzed that the contents and the direction of the program were not fitted into participant's needs and features. Also, even if the current self-support program was constructed to perform a financial and operational support, results were not evaluated as successful. Most of participants want to work for social employment and pessimistically evaluate the possibilities about success in the Self-support Program. The reason why they think about the vision with hopeless is that self-support program has any competitive power in the market without government's help. Although they need well-made job educational program, the agencies do not have them that they were fallen through in the market. Therefore we need to systematically manage the self-support program connected to communities so that participants can recover their self-confidence and own competitiveness. The local governments should increase human capital about self-support Program so that the self-support program can serve as a stable job offering.
