The purpose of this study is to provide the foundation which is needed for solving the problems of handicapped people's welfare with the investigation of community solidarity in Kyungbuk. In the result of this investigation, the most parts are 40-49 aged people 23.2%, 36.1% graduated high school, 64.4% that are not national basis life prebendary, and the second class was the most by the handicapped grade. The average of community solidarity was 2.8267, which appeared higher than 2.5 that is the average of 5 points full marks. In the examination of each factors' response result, rehabilitant hospital was the most by 26.1% with treatment rehabilitant facilities, utilization ride private car by 26.8%, necessary welfare policy, the guarantee of economy and income by 48.6% was the most many, and the next took 22.5% health and medical care. In the ideology intention, community solidarity of the socialism of the same family name was highest , and in the satisfaction of leisure, community solidarity of dissatisfaction appeared highest. Education, obstacle grade, age showed interrelationship that are relevant statistically each other in the corelation analysis, and these variable did not meaning in the regression analysis. These results show that the degree of the handicapped's community solidity in Kyungbuk was a little higher than that of average, and what had affected the community solidity was not the Confucianism but the ideology intention. It would be effective to provide integrating community policy considering these facts. Thought there were not the facts that affected the handicapped's community solidity in Kyungbuk, it would be necessary to keep on studying the whole handicapped people in Kyungbuk area.
