This study was to investigate moderating effect of empowerment in the
effect of family relation on the reduction stress of college students. The
subject of this study was 314 students at 2 college in P city and tested
their family relation, stress, and empowerment. As a result, family
relations, in other words, among recognition and responsibility, love and
care, and acceptance and respect, it was revealed that stress had relevance
to recognition and responsibility and love and care area. Also, there was
moderating effect of empowerment in the effect of family relations on the
stress of college students. Moreover, this study disclosed the relationship
among family relations, stress, and empowerment. Conclusively, this study
has great significance offering intervention plans about students' stress by
family relations and further study direction on empowerment.
