본 연구는 지역사회 저소득 노인의 문제음주의 특성과 그 영향요인의 분석을 통해, 저소득 노인의 문제음주에 대한 사회복지실천의 개입자료를 제공하는데 있다. 이러한 목적을 위하여 대전지역 영구임대아파트에 거주하는 273명의 노인 들을 대상으로 인구사회학적특성, 개인적 특성(최초음주시기), 그리고 심리환경 적특성(우울, 가족관계)요인으로 나누어 조사를 하였다. 연구결과를 살펴보면, 첫째, 본연구대상의 80.1%는 음주를 하는 것으로 조사되었으며, 이중 문제 음주 자는 19.9%로 나타났다. 둘째, 저소득 빈곤노인의 음주빈도에 영향을 미치는 요 인으로는 성별과 가족관계, 그리고 우울이 영향요인으로 나타났으며, 셋째, 저소 득 노인의 음주량에 영향을 미치는 요인으로는 조기에 음주를 시작한 경우, 그 리고 가족관계와 우울이 영향요인으로 나타났다. 넷째, 저소득 노인의 문제성음 주에 영향을 미치는 결정요인으로는 성별과 연령, 그리고 최초음주시기 그리고 우울과 가족관계요인이 통계적으로 유의한 영향을 미치는 요인으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 저소득 노인의 문제음주예방과 개선을 위한 실천적 개 입방법들을 제시하였다.
The Purpose of this study is to Investigate the Characteristics of drinking Patterns and the prevalence of problem drinking among the low income elderly. A total of 273 poor elderly in Daejeon participated in this study. Results indicated that 80.1% of the elderly were current drinkers and 19.9% of the subject were problem drinkers. sex, onset-drinking age, depression and family relationship was significantly correlated with highter frequence and quantity of drinking. Especially Onset-drinking age, depression and family relationship had significant relation on the problem drinking among the elderly. According to the results, implication for social work services to reduce the problem drinking. Treatment and prevention program for a low-income elderly should be discussed in social work practices and find a solution that offers alternative.
