본 연구는 장애인 직업재활 현장에서 지체장애인의 구직 경험과 직업생활 경험이 어 떠한지를 장애인 당사자와 장애인 고용기업 인사담당자 차원에서 살펴보고 향후 장애인 의 직업생활을 지원하기 위한 직업재활 서비스의 방향성을 제시하는데 그 목적이 있다. 연구방법은 질적연구의 한 방법으로 사례연구방법을 활용하였다. 분석결과, 지체장애인 의 구직 경험과 직업생활 경험을 통해 신체적․행동적, 심리적․사회적 욕구 등과 관련 된 주제를 도출하였다. 먼저 구직 경험과 관련된 범주에서는 ‘욕구보다 현실과 조건에 맞춘 직업생활’을 비롯한 3개의 주제어가 도출되었으며, 직업생활 경험과 관련된 범주에 서는 ‘비장애인 동료로부터 부정적인 태도 경험’을 포함한 8개의 주제어가 도출되었다. 다음으로 장애인 고용기업 인사담당자들의 장애인 고용 이전과 이후의 경험을 관리자 차원과 동료 차원에서 관련 주제를 도출하였다. 이러한 분석결과를 토대로, 지체장애인 의 직업생활을 지원하기 위한 실천적․정책적 시사점을 제시하였다.
The purpose of this study is to analyze job-searching and worklife experiences of people with physical disability and human resource managers in companies employing disabled people. The research method is a case study which is a type of qualitative research method. The results of the study have brought about themes related to physical-behavior and psychosocial needs through job-searching experience and worklife experience of people with physical disability. Three themes including ‘work experience adjusted to reality and conditions than needs’ were identified in the category related to job-searching experience and eight themes were found including ‘behaviors which had negative influence on work experience’ in the category related to work experience. Moreover, related themes were brought about from the experience before and after the employment of disabled people of human resource managers in companies that employ disabled people. Based on these results, political and practical implications of worklife for people with physical disability were discussed.
