This study was conducted to investigate the relationship between physical self-conception and
psychological satisfaction and effect of physical self-conception on psychological satisfaction. The current
study assessed data collected from 128 nursing college seniors who participated in a self-administered
questionnaire survey between June 1 and June 8 2017. The collected data analyzed using t-test, ANOVA,
correlation analysis, multiple regression analysis. Sports competence, muscular strength, physical
self-conception about appearance were significantly different by relationship with friends. Psychological
happiness was significantly different by relationship with friends and major satisfaction. Relationship with
friends, major satisfaction, sports competence, health, muscular strength, appearance and physical activity
were positively correlated with psychological happiness. The affecting factors on psychological happiness were muscular strength, relationship with friends, major satisfaction, health in order, and adjusted R2 of
multiple regression equation was o.465. Therefore, a proper approaches such as increase of muscular
strength, improvement of relationship with friends and major satisfaction is required to increase
psychological happiness of nursing college students.
