This study attempted to explore improved ways of career support plan for multicultural youth after scrutinizing their career support situation and needs. Although it has passed 10 years since multicultural policy was implemented, the issues related with ‘multi-culture’ have been still fluctuating in our society. In the beginning, the discourse of charity for immigrants was mainstream, but discourse on reverse discrimination and anti-multiculturalism has emerged these days. Our society needs to improve and settle multicultural policies in order to achieve mature multicultural society. While this article is a preliminary study, it attempts to deal with career issues of mullticultural youth generation in the context of controversial discourse on multiculture and reverse discrimination. Through overall understanding of their career condition, career support situation and support needs, I tried to suggest improved ways of supporting career for multicultural youth. Major improved ways include different supports considering residential and adjustment period, and income level and economic condition, various services reflecting actual needs, differentiation of multicultural youth as service beneficiaries, and supporting system not excluding native disadvantaged youths.
